Dear All,
My article appeared in this week's issue of The Canadian Jewish News. The article is not yet available online, but attached you will find a scanned version of the page from the CJN's print edition, dated November 21st, 2013. It relates to the Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Csanád Szegedi's planned arrival in Canada in a couple of weeks, but also includes some more personal, as well as some broader reflections. As many of you know, Szegedi was a founder of Hungary's rabidly anti-Semitic and fascistic Jobbik party, but has since discovered that his grandmother was a Holocaust survivor. He will now be attending an event hosted by the Westmount Chabad, in Montreal, and this has sparked controversy.
Please find the article attached.
Sincerely,
Christopher Adam, PhD
